The United States First lady Jill Biden kissed Vice President Kamala Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff on the lips ahead of the State of the Union Address on Capitol Hill on Tuesday.
Biden, in a purple outfit, gave a very warm greeting to second gentleman Doug Emhoff when they met in the first lady’s box in a gallery above the House floor. In the video, they can be seen clasping arms during a greeting, and their lips appeared to briefly lock during a kiss.
Soon after, the moment of the two sharing a kiss went viral on Twitter. Netizens rushed to comment in the reply to a video tweeted by a user. “Um, why did Biden and Kamala Harris’ husband kiss each other on the lips?” wrote one popular commentator on Twitter.
